Evidence, not marketing. 40+ products · 302 retailers reviewed & tracked, 159 scored

Trust evidence,
not marketing.

Every week, people across the UK buy peptides on the strength of a marketing claim. We think they deserve the evidence first.

Whether you’re researching a peptide, comparing collagen, or trying to understand GLP-1 medicines, we help you separate evidence from marketing before you decide.

Testing Transparency only, not an overall Trust Index grade · last verified 2026-08-21 · free to every seller, no payment for a better result

What this is

PeptideClear works like Which? or Defaqto, but for UK research-peptide sellers. Instead of asking other customers what they thought, we check the evidence ourselves against three baseline measures: Testing Transparency, Business Transparency and Responsible Practice. Same checklist, every UK seller we can find, for free. Nobody pays to be included and nobody can pay for a better result.

If you sell research peptides in the UK

You don't need to apply: we identify UK sellers and assess what's publicly checkable on your own site, free. An ordinary baseline change publishes without contacting you first; a potentially material finding goes to manual review before it publishes. 143 sellers are tracked but not yet assessed at all. Of the 159 that have been assessed, 156 carry a Testing Transparency grade (shown above); the remaining 3 are flagged for further review and not yet graded — not yet assessed is a fact, not a grade.

What PeptideClear does

Independent information and assessment. We don't sell research peptides, dispense medicines or prescribe treatment — we assess UK retailers on observable, published signals across three separate measures, and link out.

We summarise UK peptide categories in plain English. Nobody pays to be listed or scored, and nobody can pay for a better result, and we don't recommend a specific medication or supplement to a specific person. The decision is yours: for prescription medicine the prescriber decides; for research peptides the retailer’s "research use only" framing applies.

POM: Prescription only medicine (POM). PeptideClear is an independent research and assessment service. We do not prescribe, dispense, or recommend medication for individuals. A qualified GMC-registered prescriber determines suitability after consultation.

Before you buy anywhere

How to check a weight-loss medicine seller is legitimate

Every GLP-1 weight-management medicine licensed in the UK is prescription-only, so a site that sells you one without a prescriber is supplying illegally. Check the seller on the GPhC register, check the prescriber on the GMC register, and treat a price well under the registered-pharmacy range as a warning rather than a find. The MHRA reported seizing more than 5,000 illegally traded GLP-1 products in 2025 alone.
